How to root your Google Roar A50:

 

Requirements:

 

1. All In one Toolkit latest (All Android One Support)

2. Mtk Driver Tools OR Mobogenie Installed & Connected Via Mobile

3. Usb Cable & Debugging on.

 

At the starting,download Philz-Touch recovery and extract recovery.img file.Replace it with recovery-PHILZ.img which is available in All-in-One toolkit.Because built-in/given Philz,img sometimes make trouble while you would root the set.Philz-touch Recovery (one kind of CWM recovery also) is good for Roar.

The Rooting method:

 

If asked: "Is bootloader unlocked?",your reply would be YES.

 

1. Install Driver through Mobogenie or PDAnet+ (easiest way to install Roar drivers).

2. Extract All In One Tool Zip Folder and click on "All In One Tool".

3. Connect your phone through USB Cable (provided in your box) and follow the instructions.Press your keyboard what you want to do: 1) Bootloader Unlock 2) Bootloader Relock 3) Root etc etc.For example- If u wanna root only then press your keyboard numeric number (3).

4. While auto restart your phone,you will must found an apps called "Super Su".

 

Recovery Installations: 

 

Process 1: By All-in-One,now click number (4) for Custom Recovery and select Philz for your Roar.it will take some time to flash the zip file which you already kept in your SD card root.

 

Process 2: Download Flashify or Rashr apps from Play store and flash the recovery.img file through it.(Extract it from Philz zip and keep it in SD card root.

 

You will get your desired Custom recovery Philz-touch now.

 

Check-out:

 

Check if your root successfully done or not by 'Root checker" apps and go directly your custom recovery through "Link2SD" or "Boot Droid" or "Quick boot" apps available in play store.

 

Take back up of Stock Recovery & Stock Kernel through Flashify for future safety and also backup/Restore your Currrent ROM through Philz-Touch.
